Glamour Nepal | It was the evening of 2nd August 2014, when the fashion lovers celebrated tradition but yet in stylish way, sophisticated and modernity but yet with grace and feminity. The auditorium of Hotel Radisson witnessed the richness of sarees, the beauty of lehengas and the style of suits and dresses, all presented in graceful and elegant way in a show presented by Surya Sarees, the popular brand from India in sarees and lehengas. The event managed by Party Fiesta started off with Actress Richa Sharma’s ramp appearance and ended up with Actress Karishma Manandhar who was the show stopper of the event. The event did had Actress Harshika Shrestha as the celebrity model. Besides them, twelve gorgeous female models walked on the runway carrying on the exclusive attires presented under the brand name Surya sarees.
The event choereographed by Jayan Subba Manandhar showcased three round of sequences. The very first being the collection of wedding and party wear sarees. The sequence showcased beautiful and mesmerizing sarees with the wide range of designs, pattern and styles. The rich and bright colors, heavy embellishments were the eye catching element of these sarees.
The second round gave the new range of collection launched by Surya sarees having suit gowns and dresses. The collection was bold, stylish, trendy and equally vivacious perfectly complementing to the choice and persona of modern day women.
The final round featured the bridal collection of lehengas and indo western dresses. This collection gave a new flavour to the traditional way of getting dressed as bride. The styles were sophisticated and bold but yet looking feminine. The event did have performances by musical bands called Natraj, Sound of stream and also melodies by Singers Devika Bandana and Bijesh Poudel.
