Nepalese runway model Monica Adhikari has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a place in the top 15 at Miss Globe 2024, marking a proud moment for Nepal on the international stage. In addition to her top 15 placement, Monica excelled in two key categories: she was a finalist in both the head-to-head challenge and the most popular category.
Monica’s journey to Miss Globe 2024 began earlier this year when she was crowned Miss Globe Nepal 2024 at the Mister and Miss National 2024 competition, organized by Sanurvi International Pvt. Ltd. She rose to prominence in 2022 after winning the prestigious Model Hunt Nepal, a competition organized by Next Models Nepal. Her tall, striking presence and professionalism have made her a standout on all most all the top listed runway shows of Nepal.
The grand finale of Miss Globe 2024 took place on Wednesday, October 15, at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania. Diana Moreno from Colombia claimed the title of Miss Globe 2024, emerging victorious over 42 other contestants from around the world. Thailand’s Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul was named the first runner-up, while Jasmin Bungay from the Philippines secured the second runner-up spot. Germany’s Andromeda Schuster finished as third runner-up, and Vietnam’s Ha Trang Do rounded off the top five as fourth runner-up.
