Pageant Director Anila Shrestha honored by World Book of Records, London

Anila Shrestha, a prominent fashion choreographer, pageant director, and the National Director representing Nepal in various international beauty contests, has been honored with the prestigious Excellence Award by the World Book of Records, London. This recognition celebrates her significant presence, dedication, achievements, and contributions in the pageantry and fashion industry.

The award was presented during a special event held in Kathmandu, where Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, was the chief guest. The former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Bhawani Rana, handed the award to Anila Shrestha in front of an esteemed audience.

Anila’s journey in the field of beauty pageants began in 2005 when she participated in the Miss Newa competition, which marked her entry into the world of pageantry. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry in Nepal, taking on key positions such as the Event Director and Choreographer at Green Arts Media Pvt. Ltd.

Anila has also served as the National Director for various prestigious international beauty pageants, including Heritage Pageants and Miss Eco International, where she has helped aspiring Nepali contestants showcase their talent on global platforms.

Her expertise and influence extend beyond Nepal, as she has been involved as a choreographer and pageant coach in numerous beauty contests across different age groups. She has contributed significantly to the pageant industry by grooming contestants and elevating their performances on both national and international stages.

Anila experience as a judge also spans notable events such as the Indo International Fashion Carnival and Awards 2023 in Dubai, and Miss and Mrs. Heritage India 2024, where she played a vital role in selecting and guiding talent.

Anila has earned recognition as the Best Event Choreographer and Best International National Director awards at the Fashionfair Awards 2020, organized by Dream Search Agency. Anila herself has also represented Nepal on the global stage as a contestant. In 2019, she participated in the Mrs. Universe pageant as Mrs. Universe Nepal. Competing in Guangzhou, China, Anila reached the semifinals and earned the special title of Mrs. Universe Loyal 2019.
