State Minister Ram Bir Manandhar sets World Record


On 25th December 2020, World Record Official Attempt was been made by Honorable State Minister for Urban Development, Mr. Ram Bir Manandhar. He has been provisionally included for performing a Solo Concert by a Standing Minister and would be registered in World Book of Records as the world record in its own kind.

To set the World record Mr. Manandhar continuously sang for four hours five minutes and twenty seconds and performed fifty-nine songs that included various all-time Nepali hits and songs with national feelings. In the event, Mr. Manandhar received the provisional certificate from Bhawani Rana, the Goodwill Ambassador of World Book of Records UK for Nepal.

The event was been hosted at Astanarayan Cinema Hall theatre at Balaju, Kathmandu. The event was been emceed and coordinated by the founder of Karaoke Entertainment and Karaoke Idol, Khagesh Ranjitkar. The record-setting performance was been conducted in presence of Sagar Katwal, President WBR-Nepal, Nirnaya NSK, Performing Artist, Ajay Adhikari ‘Sushil’, Performing Artist, Shrijana Duwal, Senior Journalist, Sitamaiya Rajchal, World Record Holder, Standing Sitar Performer as the Adjudicators.

The event was been inaugurated by the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung, and was been graced by VIP’S including Spouse of the Prime Minister Mrs. Radhika Shakya and Pradesh Sansad Keshav Sthapit.
