The first runner-up of Nepali Tara Season 3, Devesh Rai, has come up with his debut album, and the Journey Begun. The album was released amid a programme held in the premises of Nepal Cultural Association on Tuesday. The event also saw the release of two music videos from the album.
The event was attended by various personalities from the Nepali music world including Jems Pradhan and Prakash Gurung, who is one member of the Nepali Tara Season 3 adjudication panel.
The album includes six modern songs; the lyrics of which has been penned by renowned lyricists Suman Pokharel, Prakash Gurung, Ram Bahadur Kane, Krishna Koirala, and Sitaram Sucharu.
The album has been composed by Vedh Nidhi Poudel, Suresh Adhikari, Prakash Gurung, Ganesh Rijal, Saran Joshi and the Canary Band. “I want to express my gratitude to Nepali Tara Season 3 team for providing me myriad opportunities… I hope the album will be loved by the audience” the singer said, speaking during the event.
