Sushma Dahal from Sukhadhara, Kathmandu, has been crowned the winner of the national-level beauty competition for beauticians, ‘Black Diamond Beautician Nepal 2025’.
Along with the prestigious title, she earned the opportunity to represent Nepal at the N.F.E.A. Awards 2025 to be held in Japan. Additionally, she received a scholarship package worth NPR 100,000 from the title sponsor Black Diamond.
The grand finale of the event was held at Jyapu Pragya Academy in Lalitpur. In this competition, Sushila Rai secured the position of first runner-up, while Preeti Khadka was announced as the second runner-up. They were awarded scholarship packages worth NPR 50,000 and NPR 25,000, respectively.
Organized under the banner of Himalayan Movies Production House, this was the 11th edition of the competition. The event included multiple rounds such as the bridal and introductory phase, a fashion show, costume presentation, Q&A sessions, and a written test.
The entire show was choreographed by renowned fashion choreographer Himani Subba. The event also featured various professional contests highlighting specific beautician skills.
Several participants stood out in individual categories. Sanju Phago was named Best Bridal, Kalpana BK won Best Makeup, Sushila Rai took Best Nail Art, and Ganga Shrestha claimed the title for Best Hairdo.
Other special titles were awarded to outstanding participants: Most Intelligent went to Sushma Dahal, Best Photogenic to Sanju Phago, Most Confident to Preeti Khadka, and Most Active to Pavitra Neupane. Similarly, Most Delicate was won by Kopila Rai, Most Charming by Babita Rai, Most Diligent by Anita Rai, Best Personality by Ramila Kuswar, Most Smart by Kala Rai, and Most Passionate by Sandhya Shrestha. The Attractive title went to Supriya Subedi, Public Choice (Video) to Preeti Khadka, Most Popular to Ramila Kuswar, and Popular Choice to Kopila Rai.
The judging panel for the competition included actor Aseraj Garach, cosmetologist Dr. Rekha Thapa, Mrs. Novel Nepal 2024 Sandhya Lamichhane, aesthetician Dr. Yunisa Shahi, and beauty expert Apsara Neupane. The event was been hosted by fashion choreographer and media person Rojin Shakya.
