An award ceremony will be organized in Belgium under 15 categories. It was informed at the press conference on Tuesday that the IAF awards ceremony will be organized in Belgium on September 26, 2015.
‘International Artist Forum Honor-2071’ is being organized jointly by ‘International Artist Forum Europe’ and ‘Nepal Belgium Friendship Association and International Artist Forum Nepal’. Chief of International Artist Forum Nepal Pradeep Kumar Uday said that awards categories might be increased.
A team of 25 people will visit Belgium for five days for the award ceremony. Film artists receiving awards will participate in different cultural programs in Europe for a month.
The categories for the awards are: Best Singer Male, Best Singer Female, Nepali Music Special Contribution (International), Nepali Film Special Contribution, Nepal Sewa, Best Dance Director, Best Villain, Best Comedy Artist, Best Musician, Best Lyrist, Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.
Two disabled technicians were also honored at the function. Technician duo Santu Gurung and Mahananda Chaudhary were honored with Rs 26 thousand each.
