Dheeraj Tandukar awarded as Best Event Director of the year

Dheeraj Tandukar, a distinguished professional in Nepal’s fashion, modeling, and event management industry, with over two decades of experience has recently been honored as the Best Event Director of the Year at the International Achievers Award 2024, hosted by ABM Presents in collaboration with the Nepal Culture and Film Center at The British College.

In addition, recently he also received a Letter of Appreciation for Event Management from the Defense Minister of Nepal, Hari Prasad Upreti, at the 12th Nepal Africa Film Festival 2081.

His journey began as a runway model, but over the years, he evolved into fashion choreographer and event organizer. He now holds the position of CEO at Event Better Galaxy Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., a leading event management company based in Kathmandu. Under his leadership, the company has successfully organized a variety of prestigious events, including the Little Prince & Princess Nepal and National Kids of the Year pageants, which provide a platform for school-aged children to showcase their talents.

The winners of these competitions represent Nepal in international pageants, such as Asia Pacific Prince & Princess and International Kids of the Year, where they have achieved significant success. His company also organizes Mrs. Queen Nepal, a pageant dedicated to married women, as well as the Style Icon Nepal modeling competition. These events have not only elevated the status of Nepali talent but also brought international recognition to the winners.

Dheeraj’s expertise extends beyond pageants. His company also manages a wide range of personal and corporate events, from birthday parties and weddings to concerts and corporate functions. His efforts in the industry were recognized when he received the National Youth Lead Award 2019 under the category of Skill Management and Training, organized by the Global Lead Network.

Dheeraj is also the national director for several prestigious international pageants, including International Kids of the Year, Asia Pacific Prince & Princess, Jewel of the World, and Miss Asia Global. His involvement in these global platforms has contributed to the international exposure of Nepali participants. His expertise and reputation have also led him to serve as a jury member for various pageants and modeling competitions, both in Kathmandu and across Nepal.

Dheeraj also has expanded his career into business entrepreneurship. He is the Chairman and CEO of Jhigu Shopping and serves as the Business Development Manager (BDM) for NIVA Lodge & Resort. His successful career and diverse ventures have been featured in several news articles, television interviews, and national media outlets in Nepal.
