Hundred and more student fashion designers are gearing up to showcase their designing skills and creativity. The student designers are from the Bagbazaar and Manbhawan centers of the International Institute of Fashion Technology, IIFT.
‘Dress to Impress’ is a fashion show-based fashion designer’s competition where the participating designers would showcase their individual skills on fashion designing and would flaunt their creation by themselves as the models.
According to Tenjing Sherpa the managing director of IIFT, the show would have its Pre-judgment on the 7th of Chaitra while the final showcase would happen on the 13th of Chaitra 2077 and would take place at Yak Palace, Pulchowk. ‘Dress to Impress’ would incorporate the student designers who have completed six months course of learning fashion designing at IIFT.
The participating designers would be trained and choreographed by Choreographer Bipana Thapa. Earlier in its previous editions, Rani Shrestha and Mahesworinath Yogi respectively were been the winners of seasons one and two of Dress to Impress.
IIFT in a short time of its inception has been able to gain success in delivering fashion designing education and recently was been awarded as Best Fashion Designing Institute at FashionFare awards 2020 organized by Dream Search Agency.
