Sixty four student designers from Kathmandu and Lalitpur center of International institute of fashion and technology, IIFT, were seen all dressed well in the attires designed by them. They were spotted walking in the graceful style of models and flaunted the dresses as better as a model can do. This scene was witnessed during the second season of Dress to Impress, a fashion show cum in house designer competition of IIFT.
Vivid colors, different line and lengths from glamorous to simple styles, elegant to graceful all were spotted on the same runway. From the A-lines to knee lengths, gowns to lehengas, party to bridal and fusion styles all came lively within a package.
By the end Maheshworinath Yogi earned the winning trophy for designing the best attire of the evening. It was a more than twelve feet long floral printed white colored gown that made Maheshorinath win the second season of Dress to Impress. The first runner-up position was bagged by Shreya Pun Magar. Her dress was based on dark and light theme and was a black colored gown. Likewise Urmila Tamang stood second runner-up. Her dress was inspired from rainbow and was a gown with a beautiful blend of seven hues of colors.
The event was been organized by IIFT Nepal and was showcased at Amrapali Banquet, Naxal, Bhatbhateni. The event was managed by Pacific events and management while choreography was been looked over by Bipana Thapa.
