Recognizing the long-term professional involvement, experience, achievement, popularity, and contribution towards the related field, more than twelve veterans of the movie, music, and fashion fraternity of Nepal are been bestowed with the special honor during the first ever Nepal Fashion Entertainment Awards 2022 organized by Himalaya movie production house.
Initiated by Himani Subba and Komal Nath Khatiwada, the glamorized event was been showcased at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. In the event, Actor Saroj Khanal was felicitated with Honorary Award Motion Picture Acting Star whereas Actress Gauri Malla was been bestowed with Motion Picture Queen of Acting.
Similarly, Female vocalist Anju Pant was honored as Queen of evergreen voice whereas Male vocalist Aanand Karki received Evergreen melody vocal star. Likewise, Dhiraj Rai was honored with Iconic Pop Star. In the event, the Fashion Choreographer was bestowed with an honorary award called Iconic fashion choreographer while make-up artist Sneh Rana received Iconic Make-up Artist. Likewise, fashion designer Tenzin Tseten Bhutia was honored with the Iconic Fashion Designer award.
The honorary category also felicitated Dharma Bahadur Baniya as Social Hero, Sabitra Shah as an Influential social activist, Radha Hamal Baniya as Iconic folk singer and Manu Banta Magar as Social Welfare worker. In the special category of award ceremony Actress Swastima Khada received Popular Cine Star while model/actor Dikpal Karki received Iconic Popular Model award whereas fashion designer Suknita Chaulagain received Popular dress designer of entertainment industry award.
The event awarded various people in different categories. The competitive categories included emerging/aspiring category, popular category and premier category where make-up artists, pageantry winners of different themes and models were been awarded.
