Natural Star Nani has unveiled one of the most ferocious transformations of his career in the official teaser for The Paradise. Released on August 6, the teaser introduces the Telugu star as Jadal, a blood-soaked rebel fighting oppression in director Srikanth Odela’s ambitious action drama.
The makers have also confirmed that The Paradise will arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 24, 2026.
The teaser immediately pulls viewers into a grim world shaped by inequality, violence and rebellion. It opens by questioning ownership of the land before revealing Nani in a striking new look braided hair, a rugged physical transformation and an intensity that makes him nearly unrecognisable.
From bare-knuckle fights and blades to large-scale confrontations, the footage signals that The Paradise could be one of the rawest films in Nani’s career. The teaser ends on an especially brutal note, with Jadal drenched in blood amid fallen bodies.
Jadal Rises Against Oppression
Beneath the violence, The Paradise appears to carry a larger story about resistance, identity and social inequality.
Reports describe Jadal as a leader who emerges from an oppressed tribal community denied basic rights. Land, dignity, identity and rebellion appear to form the emotional and social foundation of Srikanth Odela’s story.
The mix of grounded social conflict and explosive action also recalls the intensity of Nani and Odela’s previous collaboration, Dasara. The Paradise reunites the actor-director duo following the commercial success of the 2023 film.
Anirudh Ravichander Powers the Teaser
Composer Anirudh Ravichander adds further intensity to the teaser with a pounding background score that complements its violent imagery and larger-than-life presentation.
The film’s music campaign had already attracted considerable attention ahead of the teaser release.
Promotional track “Aaya Sher” became a major online success, with entertainment reports stating that the song crossed 200 million views on YouTube and inspired fan videos and recreations across social media.
Raghav Juyal Takes on Nani as Vikram Maalik
The supporting cast brings additional intrigue to the film.
Raghav Juyal appears as Vikram Maalik, positioned opposite Jadal, while Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu and Sonali Kulkarni are among the other prominent names in the cast.
Kayadu has previously been introduced as Subbu, while Mohan Babu plays Shikanja Maalik.
Written and directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, with Ishan Saksena serving as co-producer.
‘The Paradise’ Gets September 24 Release Date
The newly announced September date marks another change in the film’s theatrical calendar.
The Paradise was initially scheduled to release on March 26, 2026. The makers later postponed the film to August 21, explaining that they wanted additional time rather than rushing the project.
Reports in July suggested another delay was likely, with around 30 to 35 days of shooting reportedly still remaining. Those production details were reported at the time but were not officially cited as the reason behind the latest postponement.
The uncertainty has now ended, with the makers officially confirming September 24, 2026, as the film’s worldwide theatrical release date.
Eight-Language Release Expands ‘The Paradise’ Globally
SLV Cinemas is also giving The Paradise an unusually wide multilingual release.
The film will be released in eight languages Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English and Spanish.
The inclusion of English and Spanish versions, in particular, signals an effort to take Nani’s new action drama beyond the conventional pan-Indian market.
Early social media reactions have largely centred on Nani’s transformation, the brutal action, cinematography and the scale of Srikanth Odela’s world. While individual posts cannot represent the wider audience, the response adds to the strong pre-release attention already generated by the film’s posters and music campaign.
