Nora Fatehi Summoned as Witness in ₹200-Crore Sukesh Chandrashekhar Case

Bollywood actor and dancer Nora Fatehi has been summoned to appear as a witness in the ₹200-crore extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has directed her to appear on November 2, 2026.

The summons concerns her testimony as a witness. It does not establish that she participated in the alleged extortion.

Additional Sessions Judge Gagandeep Singh issued the order on October 16, according to reports published on October 30. Fatehi is identified as listed witness LW-3 in the third supplementary chargesheet.

The case centres on allegations that Chandrashekhar extorted approximately ₹200 crore in Indian currency from Aditi Singh, wife of former Ranbaxy promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, during 2020 and 2021.

Investigators allege that Chandrashekhar impersonated senior government officials while lodged in Delhi’s Rohini Jail. He allegedly promised to help secure her husband’s release from custody in exchange for money.

Fatehi had previously been questioned about her interactions with Chandrashekhar and his wife, Leena Maria Paulose. Investigators also asked about an event she attended in Chennai in December 2020.

According to reports of her statement to investigators, Fatehi said her interactions with Chandrashekhar took place through his wife. Her statement was recorded before a magistrate, and she was subsequently included as a witness in the supplementary chargesheet.

Earlier inquiries also examined allegations involving luxury gifts, including a car, offered to Fatehi or people associated with her. Those allegations form part of the investigation’s background and should not be confused with a finding of wrongdoing against the actor.

Fatehi’s representatives have previously denied her involvement in money laundering or other illegal activities, saying she cooperated with investigators.

Her scheduled appearance on November 2 concerns evidence in the ongoing case against Chandrashekhar.
