Batulo Jun Trailer Released: Anmol KC and Princy Khatiwada Lead a Period Love Story

The official trailer of Batulo Jun has been released, bringing Anmol KC and newcomer Princy Khatiwada’s period romance closer to its November 12 cinema release. Directed by Bhuwan KC, the film centres on a relationship tested by economic differences and the expectations of a traditional society.

Anmol stars opposite Princy, who makes her film debut with the project. Their pairing leads a story in which falling in love means confronting barriers that extend beyond the couple themselves.

The film’s published synopsis places the romance in Nepal’s 2040s B.S. Against this earlier social setting, two people from different economic backgrounds struggle with the distance between their personal wishes and what society expects of them. Love, sacrifice and longing shape the central story.

That premise gives Batulo Jun an old-fashioned romantic setting, with social standing and traditional values carrying considerable weight in the characters’ lives. The central question is whether their relationship can survive those pressures.

The film also brings Bhuwan KC and Anmol together in another director-actor collaboration following Dreams. Bhuwan returns to feature-film direction around a decade after that project and also appears in the cast.

Another familiar face is Garima Panta, whose involvement marks her return to Nepali cinema after several years away from regular film appearances. Alongside the established actors, Princy’s debut introduces a new leading actress to audiences.

The supporting cast includes Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Laxmi Giri and Laxminath Timalsina, among others. Jiyaa KC and Bhabishya Khadka are the producers, with Bibek Thapa serving as co-producer.

With the trailer now available, audiences can get a closer introduction to the film ahead of its theatrical release on Thursday, November 12, 2026, corresponding to Kartik 26, 2083.
