Well-known Hollywood actor Jackie Chan arrived in Nepal on Tuesday at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on a flight of Air China at around 11 am to take part in an earthquake relief distribution program.
The distribution program is being organized by International Red Cross Society. A Chinese Red Cross team also landed with the actor. According to Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society Sanjeev Thapa; the actor will distribute relief materials to physically disabled people sheltering at a camp in Lalitpur as well as at Chyasal and Sanagaun in Lalitpur and chan will return to Hong Kong today itself after completing the program.
Earlier, he had donated $1000 US dollars for earthquake victims at a charity event organized in Singapore.
