Comedy Actor Jitu Nepal Supports to Earthquake Victims


Comedy Actor Jitu Nepal, known as ‘Mundre’ has supported to Earthquake Victims of ward number 5 & 7, Phulping Danda village in Sindhupalchowk. He has distributed quilts worth Rs 100,000 to 87 families affected by the April 25 earthquake. Among the receiver, 52 families are from the Dalit community.

Comedy Actor Jitu Nepal Supports to Earthquake Victims According to Jitu Nepal, Bishnu Hari Subedi and Babu KC from Chicago, USA, have also contributed sum of NRS 60,000 for the quilts distribution.

“As the temperature level of the environment has been dropping significantly in the past few weeks, the poor and elderly earthquake victims are struggling to the freezing cold. So my main focus was to distribute the quilts among these people,” Jitu Nepal said.

Earlier, Jitu Nepal had donated a bundle of corrugated sheets and a pack of rice each to 135 families affected by the earthquake. Similarly, he had also provided five computers and printers to Jalpa Devi Higher Secondary School. The villagers appreciated his efforts on spreading happiness off screen as well.
