Miss World honored to Indian actress Aishwarya Rai at 64th edition of Miss World for becoming the most successful beauty queen of ‘Beauty with purpose’
Indian popular actress Aishwarya Rai, crowned Miss World some two decades ago, and has been honored at the Miss World-2014 Competition, the 64th edition of the pageant on Sunday. She was honored for becoming the most successful beauty queen of ‘Beauty with purpose’.
“The title has been made me very happy. I would like to the Miss World Organization from inner of my heart,” she said while receiving award.
The Bollywood actress, who appeared in shining gown at the event, remarked that taking part in the competition is a big thing. She was in the stage with her mother Brinda, husband and actor Abisekh Bachchan and her three year old daughter Aradhaya. Miss South Africa was crowned Miss World 2014.
