Rejina Shakya has been victorious at Mrs. Newa pageant, the event targeted to the married women of Newar community and their empowerment.
Among the fourteen contestants Rejina was able to secure victory on the main title award and earned fifty thousand rupees as the cash prize. In the very first season of the event showcased in Kathmandu at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, Grishma Tuladhar was chosen as first runner-up while Sarita Nemkul Pradhan secured victory at second runner-up position.
The event was been organized by KTM events and management while Mhasika team was in charge of its management. The event was been choreographed by Renuka Bajracharya.
