Saugat makes record as youngest director, says audiences didn’t believe

Director of film ‘Love You Baba’ eight-year-old Saugat Bista has registered his name in the Genius Book of World Records as the youngest director. At the function organized in the capital, Minister for Information and Communications Minendra Rijal handed over the certificate to Saugat in presence of journalists and film artists.
Saugat Bista Saugat was only 7 years and 340 days old while directing the film. Receiving the certificate, he opined that he is both happy and sad. “Not only me and my team, but entire Nepalese are happy,” Saugat said, “But, many film artists didn’t believe me and audiences too didn’t watch the film. It was indeed a sad incident for me.” Saying that audiences will watch the film again, Saugat requested hall operators and distributors to manage rescreening of the film.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rijal congratulated Saugat for his achievement. He further assured that the government will take initiative to honor the youngest film director.

Likewise, film artist and Saugat’s sister opined that achievement by his brother has brought happiness in her family. The film that released on Mangsir 26 had failed to make business at the box office.

Also speaking, Saugat’s father actor Gajit said that they have received achievement in film production with achievement of Saugat.
