The trailer for the new biopic on Cristiano Ronaldo has been released. The film named RONALDO comes from the award winning producers of Amy and Senna, and will provide a never before seen glimpse into the life and how he reached the epitome of football stardom. Real Madrid star player is all ready to release worldwide on November 9.
In a recently released trailer, Ronaldo talks about his journey from his hometown to the Santiago Bernabeu. Starting with clips of his earliest touches on the pitch, to his record-breaking goal-scoring form at Real Madrid, the trailer offers an insight into the hard work and sacrifices that took Ronaldo to the top.
“Some people hate me, some people love me, but I was made to be the best,” the number seven admits to camera.
Described as “Astonishing”, “Definitive” and “Intimate”, the film trailer features one scene where the Real Madrid striker reacts in dismay when his son says he would like to become a goalkeeper.
The chemistry of Ronaldo and his son Cristiano Junior has also been revealed to highlight the fatherly side of the football star.
“I’m going to be a goalkeeper. That okay Dad?” To which a reclining Portugal captain exclaims: “A goalkeeper? Are you joking?”
The movie includes interviews from his mother and friends which tell the tale of the fast-paced and high-flying footballer.
Meanwhile, in a small cameo role, Barcelona striker Lionel Messi Cristiano’s main nemesis in the modern day football for the best player of the world tag can be seen winking and pointing at the camera.
