On Saturday 31st October, ‘Speak to me’ a talk show by fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya via social media Facebook would be featuring a Miss Newa 2011, a media person, and a public speaker, Sunita Dangol.
Sunita Dangol is a media professional, public speaker, Ranjana Lipi Campaigner, and trainer working professionally since 2011. She was been crowned as Miss Newa 2011 precisely Miss Newa 1132 Nepal Sambat, organized by Nepalese Fashion Home in the 7th Annual Miss Newa Pageant showcased at Nepal Academy Hall, Kathmandu on December 31st, 2011.
As a media person Sunita has worked with Capital FM 92.4 MHz as a program producer and presenter, also worked for an online portal called Nepal Aaja, and currently been associated with Nepal Television as a program producer and presenter. As a freelance emcee, the lady has hosted numbers of events ranging from formal events to musical shows, beauty pageants to conferences, and sports events. Sunita has hosted multiple high-profile events like the 2018 Civic Felicitation of Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi by Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and the “Multicultural family educational peace festival 2015” which had more than 50 thousand in attendance.
Sunita has demonstrated a varied range of skills and experiences in her resume. She has held the titles of President of Nepalese Fashion Home Social Welfare Wing, Youth Ambassador for Peace (Youth and Student for peace), Blood Ambassador (Blood Donors Association of Nepal), and Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal Cancer Relief Society. She has also worked for FORCE Nepal an environmental conservation organization and as an Abacus Trainer for Nepal Mastermind.
This October 27th Sunita along with Ananda K. Maharjan represented Nepal for 2nd time in Global Typography platform ATYPI 2020 where the team showcased Nepal Lipi and Ranjana Lipi, conducted Ranjana Script Calligraphy Workshop. She has been deeply involved with ‘Callijatra’- A youth-led initiative to encourage and promote the use of Ranjana Lipi, a Nepal Bhasa script to a newer generation. The lady is also been working as a Nepal Bhasa instructor for Miss Newa Pageant and is also making people learn Nepal Bhasa online.
