The grand finale of Miss Newa World 1144 concluded successfully at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, with Larisha Shahi crowned as Miss Newa World 1144. Larisha won a cash prize of one lakh rupees and also bagged multiple awards, including Miss Catwalk, Best Hair, Miss Popular, and Best Dress.
Aashistha Shakya was named the first runner-up, receiving a cash prize of fifty thousand rupees, and was also awarded Miss Talent. Samaira Shakya secured the second runner-up position, earning twenty-five thousand rupees, and received the Best Nepal Bhasa and Miss Fitness awards.
The event, organized by Khagesh Ranjitkar under the banner of Karaoke Entertainment and sponsored by Silver Estate, aimed to promote, preserve, and proliferate the ethnicity, art, culture, language, traditions, and customs of the Newar community uniquely.
Chaired by the President of Ranjitkar Samaj and graced by Gautam Ratna Shakya, Chairman of the Indrajatra Management Committee, as the chief guest, the event featured choreography by Samita Bajracharya and was hosted by fashion choreographer and media person Rojin Shakya.
Additional award winners included Saanz Maharjan as Miss Personality, Sabhyata Shresta as Beauty with Purpose, Riya Dongol as Miss Intelligent, Kriti Maharjan as Miss Acute, Rimi Awale as Miss Discipline, Krisha Shrestha as Organizer’s Choice, and Adrisha Shakya as Miss Friendship and Best Skin.
