Dance has always been an integral part of Bollywood films. In the recent past, actors Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and many others have impressed the audience with their dancing skills but when it comes to female leads, Katrina Kaif has set the bar extremely high for her contemporaries. Whenever Kat has taken over the screens to dance, the audience have not been able to take their eyes off the actor.
In this week’s big Bollywood release Thugs of Hindostan, Katrina will be seen in the role of dancer Suraiyya. Before we witness Katrina’s dancing talent once again, here’s a look back at the actor’s best dance performances.
Kamli:
Choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, Kamli was Katrina Kaif’s introduction song in 2014 film Dhoom 3. The song was a hit thanks to Sunidhi Chauhan’s energetic voice and the amazing choreography. With her performance in Kamli, Katrina made not just Aamir Khan’s but even the audience’s jaw drop.
Dhoom Machale:
Another track that had us grooving was Dhoom 3 title track. Just when we thought no one can surpass what Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai did in the title track of Dhoom 2, Katrina surprised us once again.
Bang Bang:
The title track or even “Tu Meri” track from Bang Bang was a treat to watch for all those who wanted to see Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan groove together. Who would have thought that Katrina will be able to hold her own against the Indian Greek God?
Chikni Chameli:
Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, Katrina is unforgettable in “Chikni Chameli” from Agneepath.
Sheila Ki Jawaani:
Katrina added swag to the simple choreography of Sheila Ki Jawaani. While the film Tees Maar Khan has nothing worth remembering, this song remains etched in fans’ memories.
Ullu Ka Patha:
Jagga Jasoos was different in every aspect, even choreography. Ullu Ka Patha is a case in point. Both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif did a great job on it.
Kaala Chashma:
Kaala Chashma is a party starter even now. Katrina was at the top of her game with well-sculpted body and of course, the dance. It would not be wrong to say that in every dance number in Baar Baar Dekho, she just overshadowed Sidharth Malhotra. Can you do the hook step better than her?
