Glamour Nepal | 1st August 2014, the date became memorable for the girl at seventeen years named Jyoti Chettri, the teenager from Khotang , it is all because at Nepal Academy Hall she was able to leave her 22 fellow contestants behind to be chosen as first ever Miss Teen Idol 2014. She took away cash prize worth rupees twenty five thousand as the winning prize value. Next to her stood teenager from Kavre, Saireela Shrestha and Priyanka Manandhar from Birgunj as the first and second runner-ups respectively.
The event organized by Action Entertainment Pvt Ltd and choreographed by Rojin Shakya saw the participants wearing the outfits been designed by the student designers from Nepal Institute of Fashion, NIF, Jamal. In one of the round the contestants performed in various cultural and traditional attires representing different ethnic groups residing in Nepal. The third and fourth round was question answer session, third being top ten semi final phase whereas fourth was the final five deciding phase.
