Because of Corona Virus Covid19, every sector is been adversely affected and so is the education field. Despite this adverse situation the process of imparting knowledge, empowering, and encouraging people has adopted the alternative way and started its journey through online education.
With ongoing lockdown implemented by the Government of Nepal, IEC College of Art and Fashion has come across webinars on fashion via ZOOM, to empower, encourage and make explore its graduating fashion designing students on Fashion and various related components.
Regarding this, the college has arranged various fashion webinars via ZOOM on different topics conducted by the professionals of the fashion field. So far, Bini Bajracharya, Head of Design & Development at SABAH Nepal has conducted a fashion webinar on the topic called Sustainable Fashion.
Likewise Deepak Sharma, Asst. Professor at SGT University has conducted a fashion webinar on ‘Innovative Thinking in Fashion’. Likewise on the topic ‘Turbulence in Fashion & Textile Industry: Post Covid19’ Tamoghnna Mondal, Assistant Director at School of Fashion Technology, Amity University, Kolkata conducted the fashion webinar.
On various fashion-related topics Daniel Chong Sau Siung, Fashion lecturer at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Fashion Designer Ramila Nemkul, a fashion designer and fashion stylist based in Paris, France Samsad Miya, MBA graduate from Holmes Institute of Sydney Dina Shrestha, Fashion choreographer/Actor Prashant Tamrakar have delivered their experience and expertise to the students to inform, aware and learn.
