20 plus Nepali professional runway models and six Indian super models, 11 sequences showcasing outstanding mesmerizing designs created by 51 students of IEC college of art and fashion, all came alive on the runway of twelfth edition of IEC Designers Runway.
Additionally, celebrity show stoppers that included celebrities like actresses Swastima Khadka and Aanchal Sharma, former Miss Nepal’s Namrata Shrestha and Asmi Shrestha and recently chosen Mister Nepal 2023 Samarpan Karki added extra glitz and glamour to the show.
Showcased at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Durbarmarg, the event was been organized by IEC college of art and fashion as the final project of 20th batch students under 3 years course of BA (Hons) in Fashion and Retailing. The show was organised into 11 different sequences—namely ‘Illimune Allure’, ‘Underwater Escape’, ‘The Broken Column’, ‘Aavyana’, ‘Floral Opulence’, ‘Fungus’, ‘Revival Metamorphosis’, ‘Bling Cale’, ‘Mojolica’, ‘Phases De-la Lune’ and ‘Curo’.
The event was been choreographed by Indian Choreographers Yatin Nitin Gandhi and Puran Chhetri. Next Models Nepal was in charge of the event management department while Media personality and Miss Nepal 2002 Malvika Subba hosted the event.
