Ichchha release postponed, next date to be fixed soon

The release date of ICHCHHA has been deferred owing to strikes announced by different political parties with the deadline to issue the new constitution approaching near.

The film was scheduled to be released in capital on Magh 2 and outside the valley on Magh 1. According to director Munal Ghimire, the next release date of the film has not been fixed yet.The film is directed by Ghimire who produced two successful movies ‘Afno Manchhe Afnai Hunchha’ and ‘Shriman Shrimati’. The film is directorial debut of Ghimire.

Dayahang Rai, Subas Thapa, Deep shika Shahi, Om Pratik, Deshbhakta Khanal, Shayam Rai, Akash Pal, Ayushma Karki, Rashmi Bhatta among others have acted in the film. Ghambhir Bista is dance director; Roshan Shrestha is fight director and story is written by Prakash Ghimire. Rom Oli, Nabin Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire and Laxman Poudel have invested in ICHCHHA.
