The ongoing virtual competition of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 has finalized its top 18 quarter-finalists and has now proceeded to close camp training session. The top 18 quarterfinalists have checked into Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, Naxal, Kathmandu for the Close camp residential training session majorly being conducted by the official choreographer of the event Prashant Tamrakar.
The contestants went through the health test performed by Star Hospital in regard to COVID-19 and followed all the health safety protocols directed by the Hotel.
On the day of checking into the Hotel Marriot Kathmandu, the official press presentation of the contestants were been done and the BBB Social Advocacy Award winner was also been declared. Nina Kant Mandal was the recipient of the award. Likewise, official portrait photo shoots and interview sessions were also been conducted.
The quarter-finalists were been finalized on the evening of 19th December 2020. After the selection of the top 50 from the applicants, the selected top 50 competed for three different tasks to qualify themselves for another round.
After all the performances and evaluations by the jury members, then public voting for the contestants was been opened. And finally, on the basis of the judge’s score and public voting, the top 24 contestants were been declared. Then, the virtual training process and the elimination procedure majorly based on public voting started. From here the top 18 quarterfinalist divas of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 were been declared.
