Sajina Khanal, the official representative from Nepal at the Miss World Tourism 2023 pageant achieved the title of Miss Elegance, Competing with over 28 contestants from around the world.
22-year-old Sajina was also among the top ten semifinalists. The grand finale of the event took place on July 29, 2023, at Citrus Waskaduwa in Kalutara, Sri Lanka.
Venezuelan model crowned Miss World Tourism 2023, originally from the state of Zulia. The first runner-up title went to the beauty from Mauritius and Second runner-up Tien, hailing from Ninh Thuan Province in south-central Vietnam.
Before participating in the pageant, Sajina had the privilege of meeting with Honorable Sudan Kirati, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, and Honorable Mahedra Ray Yadav, Minister for Water Supply, at their respective ministries. She was chosen to represent Nepal at Miss World Tourism 2023 by Event Better Galaxy. The necessary arrangements and coordination for her participation were managed by Event Better Galaxy, the franchise holder for the pageant in Nepal.
Prior to this achievement, Sajina had won the title of Miss Teen Princess Nepal in 2018. Before traveling to Sri Lanka for the Miss World Tourism 2023 pageant, she underwent training and mentorship by media personality and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. The participants’ wardrobe was designed by CIFT, and the photo shoot done by Nabin Shrestha.
