This is an effort to raise awareness for the preservation of heritage in the form of a dress. It is inspired by architectural formats of heritage sites. In the dress, a full length gown has been created which is volumized from knee level with a strong shoulder detail which is angular in shape. Braids, gathers, and net have been used as details above waist line. Peplum at waistline signifies the pagoda format of various temples found in Nepal. The headgear which has been used in the design is inspired by sculptures around the heritage sites of god and goddesses with exclusive crowns and this adds more drama to the whole image of this design. Colors and textures have been adopted from the colors of bricks and woods generally used in the building of heritage sites i.e. rusty brown. Off white colors signifies the purity and cleanliness and the golden color is used to spark the material.
