The 3rd edition of the Nepal Fashion and Entertainment Award was successfully hosted in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt. Held at the prestigious Hotel Grand Pyramid, the event honored popular pop singer Dhiraj Rai with the title of King of Pop.
Notable awards included the Prominent Beauty Expert award to Sajana Khatiwada, the Aspiring Dress Designer award to Geeta BK, and the Best Handicraft Designer award to Man Bahadur BK. Additionally, Rupa Khawas was recognized as the Popular Indigenous Social Activist, Santu Lama earned the Influential Title Winner Mrs. award, and Rashmi Tamang was named Best Debut Female Model for her work in the video titled “Aadat Banyo.”
Tekendra Shah received the Best Video Editor award, Dipak Mainali was named Best Photographer of the Year, and Nishu Kafle was honored as the Best Title Winner Mrs. The event, organized by Himalayan Movies Production House Kathmandu, also saw Laxmi Bhusal awarded as Admirable Hair Stylist, Ramesh Shrestha as Best Set Designer, Samjhana Tamang as Popular Beautician, and Sonika Rai as Inspiring Title Winner Mrs.
The evening featured a musical performance by Singer Dhiraj Rai, who entertained the audience with his popular songs. CEO of Himalayan Movies Production House and senior fashion choreographer Himani Subba presented a fashion show, with models showcasing designs under her direction.
The event was hosted by Event Manager Komal Nath Khatiwada. Special guests included Egyptian tourism business entrepreneur Sameer Ahmed, General Manager of Hotel Grand Pyramid and businessman Ahmed Abdul Hameed, and General Manager of Oberoi Group Luxury and businessman Samden Tamang.
This was the third edition of the Nepal Fashion and Entertainment Award, with previous editions being held in Kathmandu and Bangkok, Thailand.
