
The grand finale of World of Dance Nepal 2026, one of the world’s most recognized dance competition platforms, concluded in spectacular fashion in Kathmandu with the presence of renowned Indian choreographer and celebrity judge Terence Lewis.
The event brought together some of the finest dance talents selected through auditions held across five cities of Nepal, along with participants from India. Contestants delivered high-energy performances before the winners were crowned across four competitive divisions.
In the Junior Division, Ridhi Sarkar secured first place, while Pop N Smiley finished second and Dipesh & Rishi claimed third place.
The Junior Team Division title went to Creators Crew, followed by NDA Junior as runner-up and Purwanchal Dance Studio in third place.
In the Upper Division, Sajan Pakhrin emerged as the champion, while Sajan Gurung finished second and Stars Steppers Crew secured third position.
The Upper Team Division title was won by Team NT, with Innate Souls and S Square Family taking second and third place respectively.
Winners in each division received NPR 100,000 in cash prizes along with specially designed trophies plated with 24-carat gold.
One of the biggest highlights of the competition is the international opportunity awarded to the finalists. According to Artistic Director JD Tamu, all finalist teams from the Junior and Upper Team divisions will represent Nepal at prestigious global dance events.

The selected teams will compete at the World Finals in the United States, Global Dance Representative in Thailand, and the World Supremacy Battleground in Hong Kong, providing a major platform to showcase Nepali talent on the international stage.
National Director Roshan Ghataraj said the competition has become an important gateway for Nepali dancers to reach global audiences and gain international exposure.
The star-studded finale was attended by several well-known personalities from Nepal’s entertainment industry, including Miruna Magar, Dayahang Rai, Parikshya Limbu, Kabita Nepali, Buddhi Tamang, Prashant Tamrakar, Shilpa Maskey, and many others.
The event was held at The Plaza, Jhamsikhel, featuring a luxury stage setup and large-scale production. Organizers described it as one of Nepal’s biggest dance events created and led by dancers themselves.
