Dayahang’s character, a established contractor who monopolizes the river’s stone and sand, finds his dominion challenged when Bijay’s character, ambitious and weary of being looked down upon for his poverty, decides to stake his claim. This isn’t just a fight over resources; it’s a raw depiction of the struggle between the established ‘Baristha’ (Senior) and the aspiring ‘Balaram.’
