From The Voice of Nepal to UK stage! Melina Rai and Season 6 runner-up Roshan Rai join Pratap Das and other Nepali artists at Sumnima Sanjh.
Melina Rai and Roshan Rai will bring their coach-and-contestant connection from television to the stage at Sumnima Sanjh, a Nepali musical evening scheduled for October 9, 2026, at Empire Hall in Aldershot, UK. Pratap Das and a wider lineup of Nepali performers will join them for the event.
For audiences who followed The Voice of Nepal, the appearance of Melina and Season 6 runner-up Roshan on the same bill offers a particular draw. The evening will give Nepali music lovers in Britain an opportunity to see the familiar television personalities perform live.
The announced lineup also includes Parvati Rai, Sabina Yonghang, Januka Rai, Apsara Ghimire and actress Rajani Gurung. Television presenter Sushil Nepal will host the programme.
Sumnima Event, Lungto Creation, Eflex Entertainment and INAS UK are jointly organising the show. Ajesh Paudel, proprietor of Eflex Entertainment, is coordinating the artists travelling from Nepal, while UK-based entrepreneurs Sachin Budhathoki and Ramesh Shrestha are also among the organisers.
Alongside the performances, the event carries a charitable commitment. Organisers have pledged to donate 5 per cent of the event’s income to flood-affected families in the Bhotekoshi area of Rasuwa.
With music at its centre, Sumnima Sanjh aims to promote Nepali arts and culture in Britain while bringing the community together for an evening of live entertainment and support for families back home.
