
Three accomplished Nepali women are preparing to represent Nepal at the Mrs. Asia International 2026 and Mrs. Classic Asia International 2026 pageants in Thailand.
Mrs. Sumitra Shrestha (Rosy), Mrs. Kalpana Prasai (Kamana) and Mrs. Ganga Neupane Raut (Gamvir Ganga) will join the international pageantry platform in Khon Kaen, where contestants from across Asia and women of Asian heritage from around the world are expected to participate.
The Nepali delegation is scheduled to leave for Thailand on October 12, 2026. Mr. Bharat Samari, CEO of Samari International Event / Samari Group, will accompany the delegates and coordinate Nepal’s participation.

Three Nepali Representatives
At the forefront of the delegation is 47-year-old Sumitra Shrestha, the reigning Mrs. Nepal International World 2026.
A singer and businesswoman, Shrestha earned the national title after demonstrating confidence, personality, poise, presentation and overall performance.
She will compete at the Mrs. Classic Asia International Pageant, representing Nepal on an international stage while highlighting her individuality and cultural identity.
Joining her is 43-year-old Kalpana Prasai, who was crowned 1st Runner-Up at Mrs. Nepal International World 2026.
Prasai is a social activist and brings a strong social-awareness dimension to the Nepali delegation. Her participation at the Mrs. Asia International Pageant will also provide an opportunity to showcase Nepal’s culture and the changing role of accomplished women in society.
The third representative is 48-year-old Ganga Neupane Raut, who was honored as 3rd Runner-Up at Mrs. Nepal International World 2026.
Currently pursuing her LLB studies, Raut brings an academic and intellectual perspective to the delegation. Her journey reflects the broader evolution of pageantry, which now places greater emphasis on education, confidence, leadership, personal development and social awareness alongside beauty and presentation.

Preparation for the International Stage
The three delegates have undergone extensive preparation for their international appearance.
Their training has focused on stage presence, confidence, presentation, grooming, movement and overall pageantry skills.
International fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya has led and mentored the delegates. His experience in fashion choreography and pageantry has helped strengthen their stage presentation, movement and performance.
Dance and performance training has also been provided by Reena Shrestha, Sabita Maharjan (Sabreena) of Sabreena Dance & Fitness, Uttar Kumar Thapa Magar of Alag Art Hub in Satdobato, Lalitpur, and Bikram Sunar of Unique Dance Academy in Duwakot, Bhaktapur.
Their combined training has focused on coordination, rhythm, stage confidence and performance discipline.
Professional makeup artist Neelam Poudel has provided specialized self-makeup training. The training is designed to help the delegates independently manage their makeup and grooming during the international pageant.
Their international wardrobe and fashion presentation are being supported by Himani Thapa Magar of MKM Fashion House, Binita Chaudhary of Binita Boutique in Tikathali, Lalitpur, and Sushila Lama of The Zema Fashion in Suryabinayak.
Mandala Banquet in Tinkune, Kathmandu, represented by Krishna Pandey, is serving as the venue partner.

Pageant in Thailand
The Classic & Mrs. Asia International 2026 Pageant is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 19, 2026, in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
The international event is expected to bring together women from across Asia and women of Asian heritage from around the world.
Beyond beauty and elegance, the platform focuses on leadership, empowerment, cultural exchange, talent, personal achievement, friendship and international goodwill.
As Sumitra Shrestha, Kalpana Prasai and Ganga Neupane Raut head to Thailand, they will represent different aspects of contemporary Nepali womanhood.
Their backgrounds in entrepreneurship, social activism, education and personal achievement add diverse dimensions to Nepal’s participation.
Their appearance at the international pageant also provides an opportunity to showcase Nepal’s culture, creativity and talent while highlighting the evolving role and aspirations of Nepali women on the global stage.
