A popular Nepali folk singer Kehm Raj Gurung passed away on Thursday. 42 years-old Singer Gurung was admitted at Chabahil-based Medicare Hospital for treatment of his liver infection, Jaundice.
The family members were preparing to airlift Gurung to New Delhi, India for further treatment.
“Khem Raj is no more with us. Doctors involved in his treatment have confirmed his death,” Gurung’s acquaintance Kamali kant Bhetwal told.
Gurung was Born in Sankhuwasabha district. His popular folk song ‘Wari Jamuna Pari Jamuna’ had once become too popular among Nepali people. He is survived by wife and two sons.
