Miss Supranational Nepal 2020 Shimal Kanaujiya has headed to Poland for participation at Miss Supranational 2021. The 12th edition of Miss Supranational pageant is being held in Poland and the finale of the event is been scheduled for August 21 2021 in Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. Along with Shimal from Nepal, sixty global beauties are competing for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021.
This edition of the event was originally scheduled at the end of 2020 but was been postponed due to the global COVID19 pandemic. Earlier on April 14, 2021, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, the President of Miss and Mister Supranational announced that Miss Supranational 2021 is scheduled for August 21, 2021.
Earlier Shimal Kanaujiya was been crowned as Miss Supranational 2020 at the grand finale of Miss Nepal 2020 hosted at Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu on December 5th, 2020. 24 years of Shimal hails from Kathmandu and stands 164 cm tall. She has graduated from the Kathmandu University of Management and aspires to be an entrepreneur.
This is the third participation from Nepal at Miss Supranational. Back in 2018 Mahima Singh and in 2019 Rose Lama represented Nepal at Miss Supranational.
