The event initiated to contribute in the proliferation of tourism sector of Nepal called Miss Tourism 2017 has completed its screening session.
According to the managing director for the organizing team Mr. Nabin Kafle, the event is aimed to increase the active participation of youth specially the ladies in the tourism sector, acknowledge their potential, empower them and create opportunities for them in the related field. The event is being organized by Point Media Pvt. Ltd.
The auditions for the second season of Miss Tourism event was conducted in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan on the same day.
The audition round conducted at Kathmandu saw General Secretary of Nepal Yog Association and Tourism Entrepreneur Rajan Simkhada, Former Treasurer for Trekking agencies association of Nepal, TAAN, Khum Bahadur Subedi, Media Person and film maker Ganesh Pandey, Fashion Choreographer Rojin Shakya and Miss Tourism 2016 Orusha Thapa Magar as the jury panel. During the screening the applicants were judged on their personality, confidence, communication skills, awareness and knowledge on tourism industry.
