The event initiated to contribute in the proliferation of tourism sector of Nepal called Miss Tourism has completed its screening session of its third season. According to the managing director for the organizing team Mr. Nabin Kafle, the event is aimed to increase the active participation of youth specially the ladies in the tourism sector, acknowledge their potential, empower them and create opportunities for them in the related field. The event is being organized by Point Media Pvt. Ltd.
The auditions for Miss Tourism 2018 event was conducted in Kathmandu which saw General Secretary of Nepal Yog Association and Tourism Entrepreneur Rajan Simkhada, Vice Chairman for Trekking agencies association of Nepal, TAAN, Khum Bahadur Subedi, Youth Tourism Enterpreneur Bishnu Pandey, Fashion Choreographer Rojin Shakya and Miss Tourism 2016 Orusha Thapa Magar as the jury panel. During the screening the applicants were judged on their personality, confidence, communication skills, awareness and knowledge on tourism industry.
