By Rojin Shakya | Yet another feather has been added to successful journey of the most celebrated for her bridal attires, London based Nepalese fashion designer Sanyukta Shrestha. This time she is been nominated for the category of the best wedding designer at British Asian Wedding Awards 2017.
The award ceremony is scheduled on the 6th of March 2017 at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. Earlier in this year she was also been nominated in the category of Best Bridal Designer at The UK wedding awards 2017.
Sanyukta Shrestha is already a big name for her bridal wear creations at international scene especially in London and its surroundings. A recipient for Best Wedding Newcomer award at The Perfect Wedding award 2011 and Bridal Innovation award at JP Selects Excellence award 2011, Sanyukta was also been honored with Highly commended Brand leader Global Awards for Sustainable fashion at Source award 2012 and highly commended Name to watch at The Perfect wedding award 2013.
The haute couture wedding gown titled as Pippa gown designed by Sanyukta Shrestha is been documented at world famous Bath fashion museum in London. Pippa gown is made from 30 years old newspapers and aided by Nepalese hand loomed organic cotton the gown is finished with nearly three thousand Swarovski Crystals to wow it’s audience.
The Fashion Museum houses world-famous designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano. A world class collection of contemporary and historical dresses, the Museum was started in 1963 and includes iconic attire, some dating way back to the 1600´s.
