In the grand finale of the premiere edition of Miss Tamang World 2021, 21 years of age model from Gangtok, Sikkim was been crowned as Miss Tamang World 2021. The event was been showcased at The Soaltee, Kathmandu on November 23 where 19 beauties competed for the title award of the event. As the winner of the event Sang Doma earned a 24K gold medal, a silver crown, Europe tour package, and gift hampers. Other than the title award Sang Doma also earned one of the major categories of the event Miss Tamang World 2021 Health and got awarded with a cash prize of fifty thousand rupees. Sang Doma was also successful at special category called Viewer’s Choice Award and sub-title called Best Dress Award designed by Tenzing Tseten Bhutia.
In the major categories of the event Rabina Theeng earned Miss Tamang World 2021 Culture, Sabita Lo as Miss Tamang World 2021 Tourism, Prava Fyuba as Miss Tamang World 2021 Education, Renu Tamang as Miss Tamang World 2021 Social Welfare, Aprila Ghising as Miss Tamang World 2021 Environment, Alisha Tamang as Miss Tamang World 2021 Economy. All these winners were been awarded a cash prize of rupees fifty thousand each. Likewise, the special category miss talent was earned by Aprila Ghising and Nisha Rumba bagged the public choice award. Among the subcategories Alisha Ghising was chosen as miss photogenic, Aster Thokar as best discipline, Aprila Ghising as best personality.
The event was been organized by Sadhana Kala Kendra in association with Miss Tamang World Foundation and was choreographed and hosted by Rojin Shakya, with the aim of representing the Tamang community around the world and for the preservation of ethnic values, tradition, and culture of the Tamang Community.
