Nepali Fashion Designer Sama Banu is been nominated for Asia Pacific Prestigious Fashion Brand award 2015. She will be honored in award ceremony to be organized at Singapore, in the month of January 2015.

Shama Banu, a very well-known designer in Nepali Fashion Industry is been nominated for an international award. She is to receive Asia Pacific Prestigious Fashion Brand award 2015. For the award she was been nominated by Santosh Sapkota, the chairperson of Eplanet Pvt. Ltd. The talented designer Sama Banu will be honored by Asia Pacific Prestigious Fashion Brand award in an award ceremony to be organized at Singapore Orchid Country club in the month of January 2015.
A fashion graduate in Bachelors in Fashion Designing from Namuna College of Fashion Technology, Sama Banu is the winner of Creative Awards 2011, where her creativity was been awarded for designing dress out of condoms. Shama Banu has been featured in a very popular book ‘UNI” written by well-known journalist and writer Aswini Koirala of Kantipur Publications. Also worked as the wardrobe designer for Miss Nepal USA and Miss Nepal Australia this year, Sama’s creativity was been witnessed in Nepali Fabric, ’Dhaka’. Also seen her exploration as a costume designer for the Nepali movie called ‘Kollywood’, Sama’s creativity and imagination has been displayed through her solo show named ‘Sampada’, a heritage show to promote traditional and natural Nepali fabrics. Her designs were also been worn by the models in Nepal Fashion Week as well. Sama’s creation on Nepali Dhaka fabric was also been the part of first international pageant in Nepal, Miss Heritage International 2014 organized by Eplanet Pvt. Ltd.
