Sajina Khanal, a 22-year-old from Sarlahi, is ready to compete in the prestigious Miss World Tourism 2023 pageant in Sri Lanka. As part of her preparation for the competition, she had the opportunity to meet with government ministers in Nepal.
Prior to her participation in the pageant, Sajina had a brief interaction with Honorable Sudan Kirati, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, as well as Honorable Mahendra Ray Yadav, Minister for Water Supply. During these meetings, both ministers commended Sajina for representing Nepal and extended their best wishes for her success in the competition, expressing hope that she would make her country proud.
Accompanying Sajina was Dheeraj Tandukar, the CEO of Event Better Galaxy Entertainment, the franchise holder for Miss World Tourism 2023 in Nepal. Sajina was selected by Event Better Galaxy as the official delegate from Nepal, and they took care of all the necessary arrangements and coordination for her participation in Miss World Tourism.
Sajina’s previous achievement includes winning the title ‘Miss Teen Princess Nepal 2017’.
She is scheduled to depart for Sri Lanka on July 20th and will stay for approximately ten days to compete in the pageant. The grand finale of Miss World Tourism 2023 is set to take place on July 29th, 2023, at Citrus Waskaduwa in Kalutara, Sri Lanka.
Before her departure, Sajina underwent training and mentorship from media personality and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya.
