Miss Ritika Kharel | Miss Teen Nepal 2014
Glamour Nepal, Kathmandu: Ritika Kharel has bagged the ‘Republica Miss Teen Nepal 2014’ award. Leaving behind 21 other contestant, Ritika has clinched the title of the Miss Teen of 12th edition. Ritika, who is studying at St Xavier’s College, has her interest on reading books and travel.
Upon being Miss Teen, Ritika has won a scooter, mobile set and attractive gift hamper from Nivea. Similarly, Samana Gurung became the first runner-up of the contest held on Thursday amid a ceremony at Army Officers Club. 19-year-old Samana also won the ‘Miss Best Dress’ title in the Miss Teen beauty pageant. Samana was awarded with Lava’s mobile phone set along with attractive gift hamper from Nivea.

Malisha Maharjan was announced the second runner-up of the contest. Maharjan have hobbies like, singing, dancing and experiencing new things in life. She also won mobile set of Lava as well as the gift hamper from Nivea.
Reshma Shrestha grabbed the title of ‘Miss Photogenic’ in the Republica Miss Teen Nepal 2014, being organized by Kathmandu Jaycees, in the collaboration with English national daily Republica.
Likewise, Susmita Pandey was awarded with ‘Miss Talent’ while Roshani Thapa won the title of ‘Miss Discipline’. Pratigya Jha became ‘Miss Best Walk’ in the contest.
Jeny Maharjan was the best choice of the audience as she won ‘audience choice’ on the basis of audience votes. Riya Bajaj was the ‘Miss Popular’ of the event.
The contest was concluded on four rounds. The participants were selected on the basis of the audition round that took place at the main office of Kathmandu Jaycees at Subidhanagar in Kathmandu.
The jury of the pageant was led by Jaycees Senator Diwakar Rajkarnikar. Nepal Republic Media’s Corporate Affairs Manager Sambriddhi Gyawali, Actor Priyanka Karki, former Miss Teen Ishani Shrestha, model and actor Anup Bikram Shahi and UML leader Yogesh Bhattarai were other jury members of the Republica Miss Teen 2014.
