Producer Chhabiraj Ojha celebrated his 50th birthday amidst a program in Kathmandu. He also cut cake celebrating his 25 years of journey in Nepali film industry.
Different personalities of film industry were present on the occasion to extent their best wishes to the producer. However, actress Rekha Thapa, who became an established name in film industry courtesy Ohja, was absent in the function.
Ojha telephoned Rekha time and again and requested her to attend. But Rekha, sent wishing SMS to Ojha addressing him as ‘Mamu’. Speaking on the occasion, Ojha thanked Rekha for giving him time as
artist and producer. He jointly cut cake with actress Pujana Pradhan, Slipa Pokharel, Rajani KC and Deepa Shree Niraula among others.
Ojha started his film production journey with ‘Yug Dekhi Yug Samma’ and recently produced his 17th movie ‘Hawaladar Suntali’. On the occasion, Chhabi decided the release date of ‘Hawaladar
Suntali’. The film will hit the floor from 27th Chaitra 2071.
Shilpa Pokahrel, Sabin Shrestha and Kishor Khatiwada among others have acted in the movie directed by Rishi Lamichhane. On the occasion, Ojha also announced to produce ‘Kismat-2’ with director Shyam Bhattarai.
