Priya Sigdel, the official delegate from Nepal for Miss Earth 2018 has stood Top 18 and been victorious at Best Eco Video award in Miss Earth 2018. According to new provision introduced this year in the pageant Priya automatically secured the spot for Top 18 after winning Best Eco Video award.
The award was been judged by the special panels and the delegate who scored the most votes in social media. Likewise, among one of the major preliminary sessions called Intelligence and Advocacy Priya’s performance scored fifth position. With all these achievements, Priya stood so far, the best performer from Nepal at Miss Earth Pageant.
In the competition Priya was also been awarded as Miss DV Boer Ambassadress. She also bagged Silver medal in the talent round from Fire Group of the event. Her talent round dance performance was been mentored by Keshav Thapa.
During the National Costume competition of Miss Earth 2018, Priya flaunted the designer wear inspired by the tallest mountain of the world, Mt. Everest.
The dress was been designed by designer duo Samrat Rai and Ojashwi Shrestha. 23 years of age Priya was been crowned as Miss Nepal Earth 2018 in the finale of Miss Nepal 2018 organized by The Hidden Treasure.
The grand coronation of 18th season of Miss Earth pageant was showcased on 3rd of November 2018 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines.
This year eighty-eight global beauties performed for the final combat of Miss Earth 2018 where Nguyen Phuong Khanh from Vietnam was crowned as new queen for the pageant. The 18th edition of Miss Earth pageant was themed as Goddesses of the Earth.
