Actress Niruta Singh is set to receive the honorary Mrs Nepal World 2026 title at the pageant’s grand finale in Kathmandu on Saturday, October 31. Ribbon Entertainment is organising the event, where 22 contestants will compete for this year’s pageant crown.

The honour recognises Singh’s contribution to Nepali cinema, her achievements and her inspiring journey, according to organiser Nishukant Jha, chief executive officer of Ribbon Entertainment.

Singh began her film career with director Tulsi Ghimire’s Dakshina in 1993. Her film credits include Darpan Chhaya, Afno Manchhe, Aafanta and Rahar, placing her among the familiar faces of Nepali cinema for more than three decades.

She will join actresses Karishma Manandhar, Gauri Malla, Bhuwan Chand Thapa, Basundhara Bhusal and Pooja Chand, who have previously received the honorary Mrs Nepal World title.

Alongside the tribute to Singh, the finale will conclude this year’s competition. The 22 finalists have already taken part in a talent round featuring dance, acting and poetry recitation. The Mrs Talent winner is also due to be announced at the finale.

Singh’s honorary recognition is separate from the competitive Mrs Nepal World 2026 crown, which the finalists are contesting.
