Actor Nikhil Upreti, who was successful in Nepali films in action avatar, was in Mumbai for some five years. He is in an attempt to get his image back after returning from Mumbai. In this regards, the actor has been contracted in film ‘Raja’ in which he will be appearing in the role of a don.
The film will be based on the story of gangsters based in Dubai. Along with Nikhil, Jay Kishan Basnet and GK Sharma have been finalized for the movie which will be shot entirely in Dubai.
The film unit said they are searching for other artists. The movie will be directed by Dipak Khad. who has already directed nepali movies ‘Afanta Ko Maya’, ‘Maya Nagara’, ‘Salam Chha Maya Lai’ among others also directed some Bhojpuri films.
Salik Subedi is the producer, Niranjan Sigdel is executive producer, Dinesh Adhikari is dance director and Himal KC is action director. Amar Kunwar and Bostan Sharma are co-producers of the film. The movie will be shot in scenic places of Dubai from Falgun 15.
