Nepathya Heads to Japan for Multi-City Concert Tour

Nepathya has departed Japan for Multi city Concert Tour 2025. The band will perform in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka, reconnecting with Japanese fans after two years.


Nepal’s legendary folk-rock band Nepathya is all set to rekindle its bond with Japan. After a two-year break, the band has begun a multi-city tour across Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka, promising an unforgettable musical celebration that blends Nepali roots with modern rock energy.

Nepal’s popular folk-rock band Nepathya has embarked on a musical tour to Japan. The band left on Monday to perform in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka, marking their return to the Japanese stage after two years.

The tour begins in Nagoya on November 13. Nepathya will perform for the first time at the Nagoya Lives Auditorium. Fans can expect the band’s signature mix of Nepali folk and rock, the sound that has inspired audiences for decades.

After Nagoya, the group will head to Tokyo, performing at the prestigious Tokyo Dome City Hall on November 18. This will be Nepathya’s second appearance at the renowned venue, where they previously performed a memorable show seven years ago.

Their final stop will be Osaka, where the band will perform on November 24 at Zepp Osaka Bay Side. Last time, Two years before the band performed in Osaka at another popular concert venue ‘Namba Hatch’.

Organized by Vizzonia Group, the Japan tour has already generated strong excitement among fans. ‘We are working at full capacity to make this concert series a grand success,’ shared Subhash Lamichhane, head of Vizzonia. ‘Ticket sales are booming, and fans from different cities are reaching out eagerly.’

Lead vocalist Amrit Gurung reflected emotionally on the band’s long relationship with Japan. ‘Japan holds both sweet and bitter memories for us,’ he said. ‘This was the country where our band once faced a breakup more than two decades ago but it’s also a place that helped shape our identity.’

Back in 2015, Japan’s national broadcaster NHK featured Amrit Gurung in a Prime Time News segment. Introducing Nepal and Nepathya’s musical legacy an appearance that strengthened their connection with Japanese audiences.

The Japan tour features Amrit Gurung leading the lineup with Dhruv Lama (drums), Suvin Shakya (bass), Neeraj Gurung (guitar), Shanti Rayamajhi (maddal), and Dineshraj Regmi (keyboard). The team aslo joined eight additional members from the management and technical crew, coordinated by Kiran Krishna Shrestha of Nepalaya.
