Two Nepali films are representing at the ‘San Francisco Global Movie Fest’ in USA for the first time. Films ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Tata ByeBye’ will be screened at the film festival. The Federation of Indo American that has been organizing the festival since 21 years is making representations of Nepali artists for the first time.
It is said that the festival will be organized from August 7 to 16. Short films, features, documentaries and films from 30 countries are representing the fest. Artist duo Sunil Thapa and Pujana Pradhan have been confirmed to participate in the event.
Organizer has appointed Chairman of Gorakha International Group USA Prakash Thapa as Global Director of the film festival. Thapa informed that Nepali films will get chance to participate in coming years too. The best film will be awarded after selection by jury from 15 countries.
